@emma @LivingCooki @catsalad there's a way to ask the receiving server to substitute a variable for its own name in a post. so everyone sees their own server as if it were typed in.
@0xabad1dea @emma @LivingCooki Pretty sure it doesn't work on Mastodon (so you should see it), but they used the $INSTANCE$host$ in their post.
